'Mozart' for Windows - Data Sheet
The 'Mozart' Label Printing package saves you time and money by putting you in control of your own label production. You can print what you want, when you want it. There are no minimum quantities, no extra artwork costs, no printing delays and no
expensive redundant labels gathering dust in the storeroom. High quality labels enhance your company image and with 'Mozart' they are available in minutes.
Like all VERTEX packages, 'Mozart' is designed to be easy to use. It comes with clear instructions for installation, a comprehensive, step-by-step User Manual and the number of a friendly help-line. To use 'Mozart' you will need the sort of equipment familiar to a modern
office. This includes an IBM or compatible computer, using Microsoft Windows 95 upward. To print your labels almost any type of printer may be used as long as Windows supports it.
'Mozart' will print on any size and shape of label from ½" square to 8" square and virtually any label sheet layout can be re-created and 'Mozart' will store your layout until
the next time you need it. When printing, the system will use space left on a sheet to start the next label in sequence, saving as much material as possible. You can, if you wish,
draw or scan your own logo and product pictures using any graphic or painting programme which can then be imported into 'Mozart' to use on your labels. Alternatively, your logo
can be pre-loaded into the package here free-of-charge on purchase. You can experiment with different fonts and type styles. In addition full support is provided for using colour
printers.
If you need to print labels for which the information changes, like model numbers, colours & sizes, etc., you can import information from most Access databases or from any external CSV data source directly on to your labels. You can then select any of the stored information to put on your labels at printing time. 'Mozart' also provides the facility to include Batch Numbers on your labels. Batch number sequences are created at print time and can include incremental as well as freely numbered batches. A handy facility is the ability to incorporate a batch number into a barcode to facilitate improved data capture abilities. The ability to add barcodes to your labels makes 'Mozart' suitable for printing retail, point-of-sale and stock labels. Barcodes are printed to full ANA (Article Numbering Association) specifications, which means they can be read by all standard barcode reading equipment including wands, CCD scanners and
laser readers. The possible applications are endless. From the small 'video rental' business to the large engineering manufacturer, almost everyone could profitably use this system.
In these days of 'just in time' and 'quick response', 'Mozart' label printing cuts out the hassle and makes sure your company has the professional image it deserves. The module comes on CD with a printed User Manual and costs GBP £240.
